When to go to Namibia?

The best time for animal observation is undoubtedly the dry season (from May to early November). Due to the dryness, animals concentrate around water sources. You will simply need to navigate between the different water holes to witness an unbelievable spectacle in front of you.

Elephants, giraffes, zebras—all the savanna congregates around the water points. All animals mingle, creating breathtaking scenes.

Temperatures will be very high during the day and much milder at night and in the morning. However, be careful; between June and August, temperatures can drop below freezing at night. The near certainty of no rain is also a significant advantage. So whether for one season or the other, remember to pack warm clothes for your early morning and evening outings.

We recommend the months of September and October, the driest of the year, as this will maximize your chances of wildlife sightings.

However, for lovers of scenery, the rainy season has its advantages.
