Private Luxury
Safari in Zambia

A private luxury safari in Zambia is synonymous with adventure and discovery. A raw diamond of wildlife travel in Africa. It is a land of breathtaking landscapes, abundant and diverse wildlife, and still wild and unspoiled nature.

The adventure of a private luxury safari in Zambia

The morning mist rises over the plain.
You inhale the air, a scent of chaos lingers.
Click, the key turns, the jeep’s engine roars. The vehicle moves through the dried-up meanders of the floodplains.

The prey is there, lying on the ground, still warm. Yes, here you are in the kingdom of lions.
An empire where only the strongest survives.

A roar in the distance catches your attention, and suddenly, you are transported.

You arrive at the lodge, exhausted after a morning both intense and overwhelming.
You step through the lobby door, and a reflection blinds you.

You keep your eyes closed. The sound of footsteps disorients you.
Then, silence and a pleasant aroma. You open your eyes again, and in front of you, dinner is served.

Facing the savanna and its infinite horizon, you savor a royal feast.
Nearby, elephants drink, waterbucks leap, lions wait.

You return to your room. The floorboards creak beneath your feet, a mongoose stares at you. Here, nature is everywhere.
After a final coffee enjoyed on your outdoor deck, you sink into your bed.
A cozy nest of comfort where your dreams blend with reality.

This is what awaits you

When to travel to Zambia?

This time, there’s no real debate between the dry season and the rainy season.

During the wet season (November-May), many lodges and camps are simply closed. Indeed, river flooding makes it impossible for tourists to be present.

Only the center of Kafue can be visited during this season.

The vegetation will be sparser, reducing the chances for animals to escape into the tall grass.

The Busanga Plains are impassable until early June.
Most accommodations in South Luangwa are closed until the end of May.

So the choice is simple, you’ll need to travel between May and November.

As usual, the best time to maximize your chances of seeing animals is in September and October.

These are the driest months, and since they mark the end of the dry season, only a few water sources remain where all the savannah inhabitants gather.
A real treat for you and the predators.

The beating heart of Southern Africa, it is a destination that evokes adventure, authenticity, and the discovery of preserved wilderness. Less known than South Africa or Namibia, it nevertheless harbors invaluable treasures. Travelers seeking a change of scenery and raw beauty will be well served. With its vast national parks, powerful rivers, and spectacular waterfalls, this land stands out for its abundant wildlife, varied landscapes, and rich history. Here, the traveler plunges into a world where nature reigns supreme, offering one of the most authentic experiences in Africa.

The homeland of Livingstone is primarily known for the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. These falls are known as « Mosi-oa-Tunya » by the locals, meaning « The Smoke that Thunders ». They are located on the border with Zimbabwe and stretch nearly 1.7 km wide. The waters of the Zambezi River pour with incredible power into a chasm 100 meters deep, creating a mist visible for miles around. Around the falls, the town of Livingstone provides an ideal base to explore this wonder. Additionally, it offers various activities like rafting, bungee jumping, and helicopter tours for breathtaking aerial views. Standing at the edge of the Devil’s Pool, a natural pool located at the top of the falls, is a unique experience that provides an unparalleled adrenaline rush.

Besides the Victoria Falls, it is home to some of the largest and wildest national parks on the continent, attracting nature and wildlife enthusiasts. South Luangwa National Park is a paradise for wildlife observation lovers. Moreover, it is often regarded as one of the best places for a walking safari. With its vast floodplains, mopane forests, and winding rivers, this park is home to an impressive diversity of animals: lions, leopards, elephants, hippopotamuses, and a myriad of birds. This atypical activity, accompanied by experienced guides, allows for total immersion in nature and intense moments, like tracking a leopard or observing a pride of lions resting. However, don’t expect to see as many animals as during jeep outings. Do this more for the adventure than for the wildlife sightings.

Lower Zambezi National Park is equally spectacular, offering breathtaking views along the Zambezi River, with opportunities for canoeing, fishing, and hiking. Kafue National Park is the largest in Zambia and one of the biggest in Africa, with vast grasslands and wooded hills. It shelters numerous animal species, including the rare roan antelope and the sable antelope, as well as various migratory birds.
